In the 18th century there was a forge, an inn and a mill here[6]. At that time, Borków was part of the Szczecno estate. In 1827, there were 7 houses and 59 inhabitants here[7].
During World War II, guerrilla units of the Home Army and Peasant Battalions were stationed in the nearby forests.

In 1997, during the flood, the rising waters of the reservoir broke the dam and partially destroyed the village buildings located below the water level. In the summer of 2005, the removal of the damage caused by the element was completed.
