as mentioned in waypoint ahead lots of dogs in this area. was chased by 11(!) more than usually aggressive street dogs. thankfully a kind passerby stopped and escorted me with his vehicle to the highway. highway aint too great either. narrow shoulder with debris but its not for long only between farkadona and piniado. can probably use service road on south side of hwy too. only noticed dogs on north side...service roads were OK otherwise and even found place to wild camp. (near river further down the road) though don't expect anything pretty 😅

Thank you for the tip. I avoided the road. The cars on the highway are generally quite considerate, and I wasn't afraid. I didn't see any dogs on the service road south of the highway either. But it sometimes ends in gravel.
