The Zerminiger Spitze, the "local mountain" of the municipality of Schlanders, can be reached from there in a two-day tour or - if you are in good condition - in a one-day tour over the Tappeiner Alm. However, there are two and a half thousand meters of altitude to overcome. The view is fantastic. Another addendum: The ascent in trail running mode should be estimated at about 3 hours.

The 3109 m high Zerminiger is located on the Vinschger Sonnenberg and is a relatively easy three-thousand-meter peak to climb. The climbs from St. Martin im Kofel or even more so from Schlanders are quite strenuous. About 20 minutes before the actual summit, there is a wooden cross on a sub-summit, the south summit, at 3059 m. The path to Schlanders branches off from here. The mountain takes its name from a former settlement below the northwest flank. The view from the summit is said to be excellent. When I was there, however, everything was foggy with light snow.
