The Church of Beires, built between 1676 and 1679 by Pedro de Cerezuela, has a Latin cross structure with masonry walls and brick details.

The tower, located next to the chancel, stands out with two windows on each side and a hipped roof. Inside, a dome on pendentives in the transept and barrel vaults in the nave, transept and presbytery reveal the Mudejar influence. The church, dedicated to Saint John the Baptist, underwent modifications in 1745 and a significant extension in 1782 with the construction of a new chancel and transept, possibly coinciding with the raising of the tower. This example reflects the transformations of rural churches during the Modern Age, adapting to demographic and aesthetic changes.
