At the cemetery in Drohiczyn, right by the gate, there is a monument dedicated to the Home Army soldiers who fought for freedom against the Soviet army, the tomb of the Unknown Soldier and six stone crosses: five for the Unknown Soldiers of September and one for Kazimierz Kralkowski - a soldier of the Polish Army. Next to it stands a monument in honour of the Polish pilots who died in September in 1939. Lucjan Boruta, a local poet and sculptor, distinguished teachers, and former mayors are buried in the cemetery. There are graves of the faithful of the Catholic and Orthodox churches here. Nuns and clergy are buried there.
