Built in 1911 to replace an old, dilapidated building, the Church of San Sebastián stands in a square protected by majestic, centuries-old plane trees. The collaboration with the Archdiocese of Granada encouraged its construction, as evidenced by the sign on the façade.

The single-nave building, made of masonry and brick with a cladding that imitates stone blocks, was consecrated by Archbishop José Meseguer. Inside, the image of San Sebastián, the patron saint of the city, adorns the church. The coat of arms of the Archdiocese of Granada can be seen on the façade and neo-Gothic chapels decorate the interior, although visits may be restricted due to occasional closures. Access is free and is located in the town square.
