You are always guaranteed to see hippos and crocodiles on the Mara River. There is a small circular path of about 1km, where you are accompanied by a ranger.
Unfortunately, we were two weeks too late for the big animal migration. October is normally a good month for it. The animals migrate from Kenya to the Serengeti. In recent years, the chances of seeing them have been better at the end of September. In June, the animals then migrate back to the Serengeti.
