You are here at the crossroads of the Former Camp of The Hague, equipped with a shelter for walkers.
This is a historical site. During the Second World War, this camp served mainly as a place of detention and transit for prisoners, including resistance fighters and workers required for the Compulsory Work Service (STO). The camp was under German occupation and was part of the repressive system set up by the Nazi forces in France.
Today, the site is above all a place of remembrance, although few physical traces of the original camp remain.
