Great view over the Tegernsee near Kaltenbrunn

The whole area around the Tegernsee is very beautiful. You can cycle around the lake without any problems, which is definitely worth it. It can also be done on foot, but there are about 20 kilometers to cover here. In an emergency, a bus drives around the lake that will take you home again and again.

The Tegernsee valley is beautiful, the lake itself is one of the cleanest lakes in Bavaria. Therefore it is very crowded with tourists - especially in the summer months.
It gets quieter if you look for the way "up" - there are fantastically beautiful views here - and not just of the lake!
In my opinion, a bypass by bike is not recommended, as you mostly drive along the main roads and there are often one car after the next. That's not really fun.
