The villa is interesting, it is clearly a remodeling of a fortress from around 1300, transformed into a noble palace in the following centuries. Years ago it was open to the public as a location for ceremonies, but since it was donated to a religious congregation it is strictly off limits and you can only see it from the outside. On the south side there is an entrance with a driveway and a tree-lined avenue, from there you can see a glimpse of the palace and peek into the park.
