The parish church dedicated to Saint Nicholas was built from 1771 to 1777, not far from the place where the former wooden church was located. That wooden church was built in 1714, and from the foundation of the parish until the construction of that wooden church, the Franciscan monastery church of St. Anthony of Padua served as the parish church.

The church was a simple rectangular building with a bell tower in front of the main entrance. The interior was decorated with inventory and paintings from the end of the 19th century. There was an organ in the choir above the entrance.

In the Homeland War, in the Serbian aggression in September 1991, the church was completely demolished. The renovation of the parish church is underway.
