The Evangelical Church of Heilgersdorf is built of solid sandstone, together with the tower, which consists of five cornices that taper slightly. The foundation stone for the building was laid in 1753 and the church, which was built in the rural Baroque style, was consecrated in 1758. When entering the church, the simple interior in the bright church space catches the viewer's eye. In the nave, four galleries are attached to the two long sides, which make the church appear even larger.
