Pedalling here is quite a challenge if you're not experienced enough. Stamina especially. But it's always ok to walk pushing a bike. Have enough water and something to chew on or you're toast :) If you're riding in winter or late autumn beware of harsh and cold winds and make sure you have a good windproof jakets and trousers. Cuz otherwise again you're toast :) And close to this view point cars or lorries drive back and forth so don't get under the wheels.
