With Tanner Traihead next to the parking lot of Lipan Point, this is the start of the 9-mile Tanner Trail, if you want to dive into the depth of the canyon. The trail end at the Colorado River just at the Tanner Rapids with some camping spots. For overnight camping, you need to obtain a backcountry permit via recreation.gov. You can also go as far as 75-Mile Ridge for some impressive views. Please be aware that the trail is rarely maintained and you will climb very steeply, especially over the first 1.5 miles!
