Here you travel along the tracks of the former railway line between Pretzsch and Dommitzsch, part of the connection from Pratau near Wittenberg to Torgau. The line was opened in 1890 by the Prussian State Railway. Passenger traffic between Pretzsch and Torgau ended in 1997, and freight traffic in 2000. The Elblandbahn association plans to reactivate the line and is working on maintaining station buildings and clearing the tracks.
