Piscinas beach is one of the most picturesque spots in southwestern Sardinia. The golden sand dunes, up to 60 meters high, extend for several kilometers to the sea and are among the most impressive in Europe. Shaped by the wind and covered in Mediterranean vegetation, they offer an unusual landscape for the island.

The area is part of the Geo-Mineral Historical Environmental Park of Sardinia and is home to protected species such as the Sardinian deer and sea turtles. For almost a century, this location was used to store and then load merchant minerals arriving by rail from the Ingurtosu Mine.

Piscinas offers few services, but its charm lies precisely in its isolated and natural character.
