The bundle of film crew vehicles met me with an unfriendly "the road is closed, you know", or alike, which was a bit too late, as I had already ridden most of the way (clear of traffic) and seen no sign of film stars! In the village of Llan Ffestiniog, the shopkeeper supposed them to be filming fast cars zipping along the windy roads, so grateful to have missed those! I had an Apple tango refreshment from the hotel the far side - providing for people with learning difficulties - very friendly.
