A museum locomotive, visible from afar, points the way to the small railway museum on the cycle path in Pronsfeld. Where the West Eifel railway once ran, cyclists now romp on the old railway line from Prüm to St. Vith in Belgium. The railway museum uses photos and documents to show the history of the railway in Pronsfeld since 1886. In addition to the small locomotive Köf II with flat cars and a 3rd class passenger car from 1940, there are track barriers, pieces of track, shape signals and lots of other historical railway equipment. The historic railway carriage now houses Café Stullwerk (from April to October). Here, visitors can get homemade cakes, coffee specialities and delicious cold drinks.
