The Rader High Bridge near Rendsburg, also known as the Rader Island High Bridge or Europa Bridge, is a 1498 m long bridge completed in 1972 that spans the Kiel Canal as part of the A7 federal motorway. It is the second longest steel road bridge in Germany after the Ruhr Valley Bridge in Mülheim. Official construction of the replacement building with six lanes began in April 2023. It is expected to be completed by 2030 for one of the largest bridge modernization projects in Germany.
