Located in the immediate vicinity of the Cascades du Sautadet and nominated as a "plus beau village de la France" (most beautiful villages in France). From the forecourt of the castle you have a great view over the valley of the Cèze to the valley of the Rhône up to the Mont Ventoux. Some poets and painters lived in La Roque-sur-Cèze. Today passionate citizens take care of their heritage. The village stretches up onto a hilltop, making it difficult to access for wheelchair users.

The charming elevated village of La Roque-sur-Cèze, nestled in the heart of Provence Gardoise and classified as one of the most beautiful villages in France, offers a beautiful architectural unity. This is evidenced by the remains of its castle, the Romanesque chapel, the medieval bridge spanning the Cèez and picturesque, cobbled and sloping alleys lined with beautiful stone houses.

Near the village, don't forget to admire the classified site of the Sautadet waterfalls, very impressive with its giant cooking pots!
