Following the indications to the south-east, you will arrive at a gate. Here, you enter a protected area known as the 'Bosco delle Cannucceta'. This forest is properly preserved since it is quite old, and it has multiple springs that supplied water to the ancient city of Preneste. As soon as you enter, you can see brick fragments on the ground. In fact we are standing next to the site of one of the ancientlimestone kilns.
