Bike Touring Highlight
A picturesque wine village on the banks of the Moselle. Everything here revolves around the delicious grape juice cultivated on the banks of the Moselle on the steepest vineyards in Germany. Especially popular is the Riesling, but here you can also taste good red wines. A short detour through the narrow, cozy streets is definitely worthwhile.

Winzerdorf has repeatedly won village beautification competitions such as "Our Village has a Future" and boasts that it is one of the most beautiful villages in Germany. Winningen is also very well known for the "Winninger Moselfest", the oldest wine festival in Germany, as well as its landmark, the "Winninger Weinhex".

Very nice Moselörtchen with a beautiful town center. As in many other Moselle villages, winegrowing has a very long tradition here. The Riesling is the noblest white wine vine and has established the good reputation of Winninger wine. Its small, almost inconspicuous berries ripen extremely late - often into November.
The best location is the Winninger Uhlen. With a slope of almost 65 ° it is one of the steepest vineyards in Germany.
