Osrenca is a 709-meter-high peak located 0.5 km west-northwest of the village of Gornji Vrh and 0.8 km southwest of the village of Javorje. The nearest mountain hut is Lavričeva koča in Gradišče, located 4 km south-southwest. Slightly further is Balonarji. Southwest of the peak is the Mišja dolina valley.
Osrenca is a lesser-known peak in the Posavje Hills, although the municipality of Šmartno pri Litiji boasts that it is its highest peak.
