An altar, the so-called Altare di Casole, is a rock structure vaguely resembling a truncated pyramid, composed of two steps, on top of which a monolithic block was carved.
The monument is located in what has been defined as “rock Etruria” and has long remained on the margins of archaeological research. Due to its shape, very similar to that of some funerary monuments identified in Tuscia, it could be chronologically placed in the Roman age. ParchiLazio.it
