The museum chamber was created by a local history enthusiast, reenactor Michał Rąpała from Kryg. The museum chamber is the result of over 10 years of collecting, archiving and saving memorabilia and exhibits related to the history of Gorlice, including its most tragic chapter, the famous Battle of Gorlice on May 2, 1915.

KAIM is located in the building of the Ignacy Łukasiewicz Elementary School in Kryg at number 397. It is open every first Sunday of the month from 1:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. and “by phone” 510 781 225.
