The Chiesa di Sant’Agostino in Faenza has a striking facade with double pilasters on the sides, a large central window and a tympanum with slight references to Roman obelisks. On the ground floor there is a narrow portico. The interior is light and consists of a single nave with chapels on either side, surrounded by marble balustrades. The ceiling is vaulted and lit by windows above the chapels1.

The church has a rich history of renovation and rebuilding, with important contributions from architects such as Raffaele Campidori and Giovanni Battista Boschi. The structure is mainly in masonry, with a double-pitched roof. The church has a semi-circular apse and an 18th-century wooden pulpit, decorated with inlaid panels of wood, ivory and metal
