An anchor from the ORP "Warszawa" missile destroyer (the flagship of the Polish Navy in the years 1988-2003), resting on a boulder with a commemorative plaque. We can read on it: "And as long as there is a drop in the Baltic, you will be the Polish sea, because in your emerald waters flowed our blood and tears - Maritime and River League 1918-2008".

The original anchor of the missile destroyer ORP Warszawa and a boulder with a commemorative plaque form a monument, which was unveiled on the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the establishment of the Maritime and River League. In the interwar period, it was the largest non-governmental organization in the country, with over a million members in 1939. In addition to tasks promoting maritime issues among Polish society, the league also dealt with acquiring overseas territories for potential settlement or colonies for Poland (hence the name change to the Maritime and Colonial League in 1930).
