Heidschnuckenweg

The Heidschnuckenweg connects the heath pearls of the Lüneburg Heath and is one of the most beautiful multi-day hiking trails in Germany. Multifaceted heath areas, legendary cultural sites and idyllic heath villages line the trail. The highlight of the final stage of the hiking trail is the breathtaking residential town of Celle, where the electors and kings of Hanover felt at home. Not many hiking trails nearby offer such a unique natural backdrop.The best way to get to know and love the entire landscape diversity of the Lüneburg Heath is to hike the Heidschnuckenweg. The Heidschnuckenweg connects over 30 heath areas from the south of Hamburg to Celle.
