The Sanctuary of Santa Maria degli Angeli, known as the Madonna della Basella, is a Catholic place of worship in the Basella district of Urgnano. The church was built following a miracle that, according to tradition, occurred to a young woman in 1356. The building was constructed thanks to donations from the prominent Visconti families and Bartolomeo Colleoni.
