The construction of the Ambassador Bridge took 2 ½ years and it was opened on November 15, 1929. At the time, it was the longest suspension bridge in the world.
After almost 100 years of service, it is finally being relieved by another bridge upstream.
There is a fee to use the bridge, but a photo at night with the lighting is almost priceless 😀translated by
