Lastukoski is a village in Nilsiä, located between Lakes Syväri and Vuotjärvi. It centers around Lastukoski rapids and its adjacent canal. Lastukoski comprises the villages of Lastukoski and Lastulahti. Vuotjärvi village lies south of Lastulahti. The canal is approximately 11 kilometers from Nilsiä's center and over 60 kilometers from Kuopio's center.
