Domain of Franciscan Sisters
From 1895 to 2010, more than 2,000 missionary sisters were trained here to be sent all over the world. The monastery was finally abandoned by the sisters in mid-2010. This 4-hectare park area is a unique collection of trees and plants collected over the years by the sisters who were sent from here to many mission posts around the world. They all brought cuttings that formed the basis for this beautiful domain.
The park is owned by the Kempens Landschap foundation.
