The former Aurum distillery was restored and reopened to the public as a multipurpose museum in 2007. The structure was designed as a lido for the thriving Pescara seaside economy. The area, located in the southern part of the city, includes various Art Nouveau buildings and villas, within the Pineta Dannunziana.
