The old train station has an excellent public washroom (open 8am-8pm) with a great water fountain outside.
Just behind the station is a convenience store (Shop N Safe) that has a custom sandwich counter and an ice cream counter. A nearby park has a massive gazebo for shelter. (And plenty of opportunities for stealth camping for those so inclined)
