Battle of Kock – a battle of the September Campaign, fought from October 2 to 6, 1939 between the units of the Polish Independent Operational Group "Polesie" of General Franciszek Kleeberg and the German units of the XIV Motorized Corps of General von Wietersheim. Tactically, the battle was victorious for the Poles, but strategically the Germans won. It was the last battle of the September Campaign fought by regular troops.

In Wola Gułowska, there is the Kleeberg Combat Action Museum, opened on the 50th anniversary of the battle in 1989. The exhibits include weapons from the battlefield, communication equipment used during the fight, soldier and officer uniforms, photographs and personal memorabilia of soldiers, as well as replicas of banners[7].
On the hill at the entrance to Kock from the direction of Łuków, there is a monument to General Kleeberg. On the building of the railway station in Krzywda, there is a plaque commemorating the stay of the headquarters.
