These areas together make up one of the largest coniferous forest areas in Blekinge, with many depressions and heights. Unfortunately, the area around it is not protected. So while you read the sign for the area and learn that modern logging is not possible here, you have a clear-cut area behind you and along the whole path you see freshly felled trees. At this point you have to walk even further north to get to the pure nature reserve.
