In the years 1964-1968, Zakłady Transformatorów Radiowych "Zatra" in Skierniewice built a holiday resort, the so-called social holidays for its employees, in the town of Budy Grabskie, on riverside areas purchased from local owners and partially leased from the Skierniewice Forest District State Forests.

In the 1990s, the resort fell into decline - the area was overgrown with bushes, fewer and fewer people came to relax and on beautiful sunny days it was deserted. In 1996, the current owners decided to lease the resort from Zakłady Transformatorów Radiowych "Zatra" in Skierniewice for a period of 2 years. For this purpose, a civil law partnership was established under the name Przedsiębiorstwo Turystyczne "Sosenka". The area of the resort taken over on a lease basis was neglected: overgrown paths, holes in the fence, devastated houses.

In 1997, the flood in southern Poland extended the existence of the centre – at that time it hosted children from flooded areas. However, in September it was already known that additional funds were needed to operate. It was decided to make changes in the company.

Since 1 January 1998, the centre has been a family business. The construction plots were purchased from ZTR "Zatra" (no longer existing), but the area is still leased from the State Forests of the Skierniewice Forest District. Interest in the centre is growing along with the Poles' passion for physical activity – especially kayaking. The "Zatra" inherited polyester kayaks of the "Sanok" type, and we additionally bought used kayaks from the "Szlak Brdy" (Sworne Gacie), on which we sailed on the Rawka River.

Currently, all cottages have at least a sanitary unit and a sink.

The centre has changed so much that in recent years it has been the venue for:
- the annual National Rawka River Kayaking Trip
- the Konopnicka Graduates' Trip from Warsaw - usually around 50 graduates take part.
- the annual "Albatros" Club Trip is attended by over 50 kayakers.

- "Rawka Cleaning" - several times during the season and outside the rafting season, a dozen or so crews take part.
