Mountain biking
Piaski (formerly NowaKarczma, German Neukrug) dates back to the Middle Ages. The settlement developed around fishing and amber, with wooden fishing buildings from the 19th century and typical elements such as sturgeon huts, smokehouses and Żuławy hangars.
Fishing was the basis of the inhabitants' existence: the young port served fishing boats, building a local community and culture.

Cycling
The fishing and yacht port in Piaski is the last Polish marina on the Vistula Spit - it was renovated in 2010-2015. It consists of two basins (eastern and western), separated by a central pier.
