The church in Łęczno (Lenzen) was built at the end of the 15th century or at the beginning of the 16th century. In 1534 it was taken over by the Evangelical community, which carried out its occasional renovations in the following centuries. In 1867 it was extended on the eastern side and closed with a neo-Gothic apse and enlarged with a sacristy. After the end of World War II it returned to Catholics under the new invocation of the Blessed Virgin Mary Queen of Poland. The church was renovated in the 1970s.
