The Dzicze Bagno Reserve was classified as an ecological site in 2002 on an area of 12.30 ha in order to protect transitional and low peat bog with valuable and regionally rare plant species. The greatest peculiarity of this place is the huge tufts of sedges sometimes reaching a height of up to 1.5 m.
