Hiking
The new church, a brick building, was built in Kristinestad in 1897 according to the drawings of Jac Ahrenberg. The tower is 47 meters high and the nave has space for 1000 visitors. There are two Lutheran congregations in the center of Kristinestad, one Finnish-speaking and one Swedish-speaking. Both congregations have their own pastor and the Finnish-speaking congregation also has a chaplain.
