Beavers have been well established in the Houffalize area for over 20 years. All the waterways are now occupied. The beaver builds dams so that they can move around by swimming, which ensures their safety. The dams are often temporary structures, most of the time for a year or two. They can therefore move a few hundred meters. You will find them by listening to the waterfall they cause.
