From La Foux d'Allos, it takes 1-1.5 hours to climb, making it an essential spot for short family walks.
Don't expect to see a large body of clear water, the area is rather marshy. There are also frogs as small as insects.
The area nevertheless remains pleasant for resting and the climb offers beautiful views of the Grand Cheval de Bois and the Grande Seolane.
