Usually around March, the wildflowers bloom in this area and turn the desert shades of orange and purple. Mexican poppies, lupines, bladderpods, and globemallow can all be found in this stretch of trail. It depends on the weather for the previous months, and it doesn't last for more than a few weeks, but if you're here at the right time, this can be an amazing place for a visit.
