The Gemmi, once the most frequented pass in the Alps, is now a popular destination for hikers who want to experience the alpine beauty.
Hiking trails lead you through the mountain landscape of the Bernese Oberland. Welcoming restaurants and mountain hotels await you along the way. The Arven and Dauben lakes are wonderful stopovers, and from the Gemmi Pass at an altitude of 2,350 meters, you have an impressive view of the Valais Alps. As a historic trade route, the pass has connected the cantons of Bern and Valais for centuries.
Benefit from a discount of at least 10% on the leisure activity (e.g. mountain railway journey) and a discount of up to 50% on your public transport travel during selected months. You can benefit from this discount with any ticket, such as a regular public transport ticket, a day ticket, a saver ticket, or a regional travel pass, half-fare ticket, or a general travel pass.
