Spanning 720 acres, this man-made lake offers a haven for boaters and anglers alike. Its waters teem with a variety of fish species, making it a popular spot for casting a line. Beyond the fishing, the lake provides opportunities for swimming and relaxation on its sandy beach.
Interestingly, the lake's name originates from the yellow clay found in the banks and bottoms of the nearby Yellow and Little Yellow Creeks.
