A place of hope and remembrance
In the middle of Schleswig-Holstein, on the Ochsenweg, near Jevenstedt, a new place for sky trees was created in a clearing. Planting a tree for the deceased child is a sign of hope. Something new can grow and the connection to the deceased child is maintained. As sky trees, the young trees connect earth and heaven, this world and the next.
The tradition of the sky trees Föhr is thus continued by the association "Orphaned parents and grieving siblings Schleswig-Holstein e.V."
