      Excerpt from bernsteinbaeder-usedom.de/koserow/seebruecke-koserow:

"For some, it is the most beautiful invitation to come to Koserow. Others are fascinated by its impressive bridge architecture. And most just want to walk over it and over the water for a short time, clear their heads, enjoy the view of the sea or link arms and be inspired by the beautiful play of colors in the sunlight. The new pier can boast impressive figures in every respect: It is not just a straight bridge; rather, the wave-shaped construction, built on 67 pillars, extends elegantly into the Baltic Sea over a length of 280 meters. The maritime eye-catcher is 3.50 meters wide and only sustainable tropical wood was used for the bridge surface.

After almost three years of construction and costs of 7.5 million euros, of which 5 million euros were financed by EU structural aid, the extraordinary landmark was opened in 2021. And this is visible in many places: starting with the five-meter-high bell tower, which is reminiscent of the sunken city of Vineta. Legend has it that the Atlantis of the North was located directly in front of Koserow. The two bells come from the parish of St. Jakobi in Nestau (Lower Saxony) and ring every Wednesday at 4 p.m. after the Vineta legend is read out. At the end of the bridge, tiered seating and lounge areas offer space for 150 people to relax, take a breather and attend smaller cultural events.

Not only, but especially during the summer months, you can enjoy delicious cocktails, cool drinks and small snacks on the pier with a view of the Baltic Sea - the perfect setting for seeing and being seen. The jewel shines in the evening, visible from afar via LED strips. The bridge will have a special meaning for newlyweds in the future: they can say "I do" on the pier. The Koserow spa administration is happy to help with planning the wedding celebration."

Probably the most beautiful, modern pier in the Baltic region
