The parish of Pamhagen existed before 1380. The predecessor of the current church was not on the same site, however, but on the “Kirchenäcker” reed field. During the Second Turkish Siege, this church burned down. Its foundations were excavated in 1961.The current parish church in the village was built in 1754. It was renovated in 1871 and rebuilt by Franz Peck between 1954 and 1955, with the choir being extended.
