The Blue Lake Hiker Trail is a path dedicated only to hikers. The trail follows a deep canyon along Blue Lake Creek, going through a forested area, taking you directly to Blue Lake. The canyon is formed by a wall of basalt that was created by volcanic eruptions. Though the trails in this area are not so popular, this one is in good condition, but it can be challenging due to steep side slopes, cliff exposures, and rock stairways.
